Give Dad the Gift of a Haitian Vacation
This year, forget the ties and the campy boxers, and give Dad something he'll really love – a Le Plaza Hotel getaway right in the heart of beautiful Port-au-Prince. Dad will appreciate the combination of our exotic surroundings and historic building with the comfort and convenience of luxurious accommodations and modern amenities. There’s so much to see and do here – Dad can immerse himself in Haitian heritage and culture with a visit to the Bureau of Ethnology. Rebuilt after the earthquake of 2010, the Bureau’s grounds contain monuments, commemorations, and comfortable benches beneath shady old trees. The exhibits inside are easily accessed, and offer a deeper understanding of the country’s historical potpourri of African, Taino, and Haitian peoples.
Haitian art history comes to life at the El-Saieh Gallery, with its impressive collection of art in many mediums and price ranges. Dad will also enjoy browsing the artisanal craftwork at Galerie Marassa, the metalwork at Comité Artisanat Haitien, Moro’s Gallery for souvenirs and trinkets, and books at Asterix. Food, fabrics, and artifacts can be had at Marche de Fer, along with memorabilia and curios. To book your Haitian holiday, email: firstname.lastname@example.org, call (877) 810-0975, or visit: http://www.plazahaiti.com/.Read other posts

Great experience. All the staff was very helpful and the rooms were very clean. Vladimir and James were very supportive and helpful as well. The front desk and restaurant was high class. We will definitely be back.

Located off the central town square it has good security and is the obvious expat place to stay. Nice garden breakfast area near a well received pool. Tranquil after the huddle and bustle outside. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and the hot showers a blessing.
“Great Haitian atmosphere”
We really enjoyed this property. The staff was very friendly and even went out of their way to accommodate us, by letting us check in early after flying all night. The atmosphere was very laid back just as most Haitians are.

A very pleasant atmosphere and helpful staff greeted me upon arrival. Vladimir, who quickly handled my special requests, was especially helpful. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel for all travelers, whether on business or vacation.
