Having gone through a period of political crisis in Haiti, Le Plaza hotel rooms had been closed to the public for nearly two years, servicing the United Nations.
We reopened in October 2007, continuing our service to our loyal clientele which we began in 1955. Many of you are use to referring to us as Holiday Inn, Le Plaza, as we operated the franchise for nearly 18 years, from 1980 to 1998. However, once again the situation in Port-au-Prince gave reason to a change in vision.
Nevertheless, we are confident that a more stable situation in Haiti will incite many of you to visit us and discover this magical place, filled with history, passion and art that we call home!
