His name was Jesper and he lived in Carrefour with his mother and a sister I believe. I understand the Holiday Inn became the La Plaza some time after. Does anyone know of Jesper? I wish I could remember his last name. He also had worked as a translator for the US brigade that had built roads in Haiti some years earlier. I visited the orphanage and was making plans to help financially. The staff member called us at home in the US (Pittsburgh) the night before the earthquake hit and he was going to email me to begin making plans for aid to be sent to Carole. I just received a phone call from Haiti but was unable to understand the caller. If anyone has any information about this please email me at dewsterjs@gmail.com. We want to help. Thank you.
